Bundle of Love ….. Baby Naming Day

Standard

It is baby Beren’s Naming Ceremony …

So I wanted to make a special card to celebrate his day.

To make the card I used an A4 (30xcm x 21cm) piece of whisper white card and cut off an angle, so it measured 10cm x 21cm x 30cm. With the striped and spotty papers from the subtles collection paper stacks, I layered three of the panels.  To add a little bit of colour to the stamped images, I scribbled some bashful blue ink on my acrylic block and picked up the ink with my blender pen.

Lots of Love

Standard

This card is made with 2 of my favourite things … lilac & hearts

I stamped out in perfect plum the 3 hearts and then punched them out with the heart to heart punch. I hand cut a wave out of white whisper card stock and randomly glued the hearts part on and part off the card stock. I stamped the sentiment in the lower corner and using dimensionals, I raised the whisper white wave with hearts to the bottom of the card. Then finished it off with ribbon and a bow.

Heart of Hearts

Standard

I wanted to make a pretty birthday card made up of hearts and this is what I came up with …

I drew a freehand heart shape onto some whisper white card and cut it out. Using all the heart punches in my collection (even the one in the owl builder punch), I punched out many different colours from my subtles paper stack. Folded each heart in half and arranged them into the heart shape, placing a pearl at the centre of each one. When completely full I place directly onto whisper white card, added a knotted pink pirouette taffeta ribbon and the best wishes sentiment from sincere salutations.

Off to Pastures Green

Standard

A lady made the decision to change her job and move to Scotland…

Using the full heart punch, I punched out 4 hearts in wild wasabi polka dot subtles paper stack & 4 more hearts using wide heart from the heart to heart punch, using the green sheet in the cheerful treat dsp. To give a 3d effect, I folded all the hearts in half and only glued down one half of the heart, placed a button in the centre using a glue dot and hand drew the stalk to finish it off.

Seasonal Engagement

Standard

A couple got engaged at Christmas and I just had to use the miseltoe stamp and could not resist using the new red glimmer paper for the hearts …

On a piece of whisper white card, I stamped the congratulations & miseltoe from easy events in early espresso and coloured the leaves in with the wild wasabi marker. Drew 3 lines in early espresso, adding 3 hearts punched out in the new red glimmer paper and added some rhinestones for a bit of bling. Then mounted it onto a piece of early espresso card. The background paper is from the subtles paper stack and I used the rose red striped paper at the top and 8 layers of the one with words on with the scallop edge border punch.  I placed a knotted ribbon around were the two papers met and placed the completed stamped image on top using dimensionals.
