Santa Punch Art

Here are the instructions of how to make it

I started with a piece of whisper white card 12cm x 12cm and arranged the following pieces onto it…

Face – very vanilla card – cut freehand

Hat – real red – cut freehand

Hat rim – whisper white card – cut freehand

Hat bobble – whisper white – 1 3/4″ circle punch – sponged with sahara sand ink. Raised using dimensionals

Moustache – whisper white – 2x 1 3/8″oval punch – sponged with sahara sand ink

Eyes – basic black – itty bitty circle punch

Cheeks – pink pirouette – 3/4″ circle punch

Nose – real red – oval die – sponged with sahara sand ink. Raised using dimensionals

(white highlight on the nose – pushed out piece from a butterflies thinlits die)

Mouth – basic black – oval die

When completed I mounted it onto a piece of sahara sand card and then placed onto my card base.

I hope you have as much fun as I did, making this card.

iPhone Birthday Wishes

Most cards speak for themselves, but this card you have to speak into…

Basic Black 55 x 120mm

Smoky Slate 50 x 90mm

The screen background was stamped with ‘Off the Grid’ stamp set and the sentiment is from the ‘Happiest Birthday Wishes’ stamp set, both from Stampin’ Up!

Happy Easter Ducks on Parade

The following are cute Easter Ducks made using punches…

ducks on parade

which were then attached to a pillow box, filled with mini chocolate speckled eggs… yum!

Here are the punches used –

Ornament punch- for the head.

Circle punch (1 3/4″) – for the body.

Large & medium oval- for the bill.

Flower from the boho blossoms punch – for the tuft.

Circle from the itty bitty shapes punch pack – for the eyes.

Scallop circle (1 3/4″) cut into quarters – for the feet and the wings.

I used a dauber with pumpkin pie ink round all the edges of the punched shapes.

Everything was glued flat except the bill and the feet, which I used dimensionals to give a little extra dimension.

To finish, I used a gell pen for the detail on the eyes & bill.
