Bear with a flower

The card I have to share with you today is a cute little bear holding a flower…

The bear was coloured in using inks and a blender pen.

The card and gift box I have to share with you today, can be used for several occasions…

love you

such as Anniversary, Birthday or Valentines Day.

The box can hold chocolates or a small gift.

I made a second card using the same idea, but added a frame to make it look like a painting and a touch of shimmer spray.

Items used:

Baja Breeze Butterflies

The card I have to share with you today is made using a mixture of stamp sets, punches and dies…

butterfly thoughts

I masked off a circle and with a sponge dauber to create a misty circle.

I stamped the blossom branch whilst the mask was still on.

To highlight the sponged area, I added faux stitching and to give the sentiment banner a little dimension, I used my bone folder.

Fine Feathers

The following card was made by using the fine feathers stamp set

to create a panel at the top…

I started by blending perfect plum, marina mist & wild wasabi inks with a sponge dauber.

Then stamped the feather over the panel, not always re inking the stamp.

The lower panel was made to look distressed and ink splattered. 

This would make a great thank you card, by just changing the sentiment.

Sweet Birdhouse

New Home - bird cage

I picked up this stamp set, together with many other items, from a local craft event.

It is not normally my style of stamping, but it is good to work outside your comfort zone from time to time and just have fun.
