Polar Bear Christmas

Standard

Happy Christmas everyone!

I just thought I would share this last Christmas card of the year with you…

christmas polar bears

I was inspired by a card made by Cindy Lawrence and this is my version that I made for my family, which I personalised.

I stamped a piece of baja breeze card with the serene snowflakes, inked up with whisper white crafting ink. I tore a piece of whisper white card and sponged it with baja breeze ink. It is at this point you need to stamp your sentiment. The polar bears were made using the following punches –

Father Bear – extra large oval for the body, ornament punch for the head, 1/2″ circle for the ears and the large oval, trimmed for the snout and with the large circle from the owl builder punch for the nose (in black).

Mother Bear – large oval for the body, 1 1/4″ circle for the head, 3/8″ circle for the ears and the large oval, trimmed for the snout and with the small circle from the owl builder punch for the nose (in black).

Baby Bear – 1″ circle for the head, 3/8″ circle for the ears and the large oval ,trimmed for the snout and with the small circle from the owl builder punch for the nose (in black).

All the eyes are the tiny dots from the owl builder punch. I sponged all the whisper white pieces with sahara sands ink and adhered the heads using dimensionals. With a few rhinestones in the sky and dazzling diamonds to give a bit of shimmer, the card is complete.
