Twitterpated 60th Birthday

Standard

For my last card of the year, I have used my favourite twitterpated designer series paper…

twitterpated 60th birthday

I was asked to make a card similar to the other 60th birthday card that I made in the mocha morning designer series paper, but this time in pinks, blues and silvers. So the twitterpated designer series paper was just what was needed.

Supplies from Stampin’ Up! that you will need to make the card –

Card Stock: whisper white, pacific point, pink pirouette & silver; Stamps: curly cute; Framelits: labels collection; Punches: small heart & lace ribbon border; Inks: pacific point; Accessories: organza ribbon, rhinestones, multipurpose liquid glue & dimensionals.

I launched my blog on the 16th April 2012 and back dated my work to the beginning of the year. I have received over 11,000 hits during those 8 months and would like to thank you all for stopping by.

I hope you like my last card of the year and look forward to seeing you in 2013! Have a Great New Year!

Lego Birthday

Standard

This lego card was such fun to make…

I punched out all the circles first and sponged them with the same colour ink, then placed them onto the same colour card using dimensionals and used the paper trimmer to cut out the blocks. I added highlights using a white gel pen. The sentiment is from the happiest birthday wishes stamp set.

Supplies from Stampin’ Up!

Card Stock: real red, pacific point, garden green, daffodil delight & peach parfait; Stamps: happiest birthday wishes; Punches: 3/4” circle; Inks: basic black; Accessories: white gel pen, multipurpose liquid glue & dimensionals.

I hope you like it and thank you for stopping by

Polar Bear Christmas

Standard

Happy Christmas everyone!

I just thought I would share this last Christmas card of the year with you…

christmas polar bears

I was inspired by a card made by Cindy Lawrence and this is my version that I made for my family, which I personalised.

I stamped a piece of baja breeze card with the serene snowflakes, inked up with whisper white crafting ink. I tore a piece of whisper white card and sponged it with baja breeze ink. It is at this point you need to stamp your sentiment. The polar bears were made using the following punches –

Father Bear – extra large oval for the body, ornament punch for the head, 1/2″ circle for the ears and the large oval, trimmed for the snout and with the large circle from the owl builder punch for the nose (in black).

Mother Bear – large oval for the body, 1 1/4″ circle for the head, 3/8″ circle for the ears and the large oval, trimmed for the snout and with the small circle from the owl builder punch for the nose (in black).

Baby Bear – 1″ circle for the head, 3/8″ circle for the ears and the large oval ,trimmed for the snout and with the small circle from the owl builder punch for the nose (in black).

All the eyes are the tiny dots from the owl builder punch. I sponged all the whisper white pieces with sahara sands ink and adhered the heads using dimensionals. With a few rhinestones in the sky and dazzling diamonds to give a bit of shimmer, the card is complete.

Supplies from Stampin’ Up!

Card Stock: basic black, baja breeze & whisper white; Stamps: serene snowflakes; Punches: owl builder, ornament, ovals & circles; Inks: baja breeze & sahara sands; Accessories: snail adhesive, dazzling diamonds, rhinestones, multipurpose liquid glue & dimensionals.

I hope you like it and thank you for stopping by

Happy Christmas everyone.
