Polar Party Greetings

Standard

This is another Christmas card that I made last year and I just love the colour combination …

On bashful blue card, I stamped the serene snowflakes using bashful blue ink and then with the 2 way glue pen, highlighted areas of the snowflakes and added dazzling diamonds.  At the bottom of the card I used the eyelet border punch and repeated this in pink pirouette and whisper white. I used taffeta ribbon in the middle, tied in a knot.

On whisper white card I stamped the polar bear and coloured in with bashful blue & pink pirouette markers & a blender pen.

I folded whisper white card and punched out a circle for the polar bear to peep through.

I stamped the Merry Christmas in bashful blue, punched out with the small oval, layered onto a large oval and scalloped oval and used dimensionals to adhere to the card.

Merry Christmas Bauble

Standard

The shops are already preparing for Christmas and it is time for me to start thinking of making my Christmas cards. It was about this time last year that I went to Gill’s Stampin’ Up! party and this is one of the great cards we made…

It was an easy, quick, fun card to make and I just love it!

Using the Big Shot and scallop circle die, you need 2 scallop circles in lucky limeade. Decorate the lower half with a piece of Holly Berry designer series paper and embellish with a a real red eyelet border punch trim. Use the round tab to join the card at the top. Stamped the sentiment and used punches to create the holly leaves and berries for the finishing touch.

Baby Shower Card – Easy Events

Standard

The ladies who were attending Kelly’s Baby Shower wanted a card …

To make the card I used an A4 (30xcm x 21cm) piece of whisper white card and cut off an angle, so it measured 10cm x 21cm x 30cm. With 3 different papers from the subtles collection paper stacks, I layered 3 of the panels. To add a little bit of colour to the stamped images that were stamped in pretty in pink, I scribbled some pink pirouette ink onto my acrylic block and picked up the ink with my blender pen, to add a little definition.

I made a pocket that would house 15 small postcards, that the ladies could write their own personal message on.

These are the supplies I used to make the card from Stampin’ Up!

Card Stock: whisper white, blushing bride & subtles collection paper stacks; Stamps: bundle of love & easy events; Inks: pink pirouette & pretty in pink; Punches: word window, modern label, circle & scallop circle; Accessories: snail adhesive, multipurpose liquid glue, rhinestones, blender pen, pink pirouette marker pen & dimensionals.
