Beyond The Garden – pillow box gifts

Standard

I just love making and giving pillow box gifts and these 3 remind me of Summer …

Using my big shot and pillow box die, I cut out 3 different patterned papers from the beyond the garden designer series paper (dsp). I used sticky strip to fix the boxes, as it is very strong and holds them together, especially when filled with sweet treats.

Each box was decorated with a coloured scallop circle (daffodil delight / pacific point / wild wasabi) layered with a 1-3/8” circle (pumpkin pie / wild wasabi / pink pirouette) and a 1-1/4” punched circle in whisper white, with the friends sentiment from the tiny tags stamp set stamped in basic black. Using the paper-piercing tool with the mat pack, I made holes into the scallop circles.

I added the large butterfly from the beautiful wings embosslits die in vellum and the dotty butterfly in the matching dsp in the centre. Using the handheld punch, I made a small hole through the centre of the butterfly and scallop circle. This allowed me to secure them together with a mini silver brad and adhered to the ribbon on the pillow box with a dimensional.
