Wedding Celebration

Standard

I just want to share with you two Wedding Invitations …

I made these a few years ago, but it just proves that ‘less is more’ and also timeless.

With just the use of a strip of patterned paper, two hearts, small bow and a little bling with a rhinestone or pearl completes both these cards.  With a different sentiment they could be used as a Wedding or Anniversary card.

Hearts come in many shapes and sizes and are a great feature on a card and I use them all the time.

I hope you like them and thank you for stopping by

Bundle of Love … Baby Girl

Standard

I was asked to make a new born baby girl card …

To make the scalloped border, I cut a piece of pink pirouette card 3-1/4” x 2-7/8”. Punch the corners first with the scallop trim corner punch and then line up using the scallop trim border punch to complete the pattern.

Go to Sarah’s Ink Spot Blog to see the tutorial of how to make various sized squares and rectangles, using the scallop trim border & scallop trim corner punches.

So out came my punches and a little imagination, as there are so many variations of this game now!

Thanks – A Mixed Bunch

Standard

We all need to send a card to express our thanks from time to time…

I stamped the flower in Poppy Parade onto Calypso Coral card stock and cut out using the blossom punch. I added a brad from the everyday enchantment pack. I wrapped some of the calypso coral organdy ribbon round a piece of whisper white card and layered onto a piece of calypso coral card.

Using dimensionals, I adhered the flower over the ribbon and also the coral card to the white card. To finish I stamped the sentiment in poppy parade, to give a little bling I added some dazzling diamonds with the 2-way glue pen and some rhinestones.
