Off to Pastures Green

Standard

A lady made the decision to change her job and move to Scotland…

Using the full heart punch, I punched out 4 hearts in wild wasabi polka dot subtles paper stack & 4 more hearts using wide heart from the heart to heart punch, using the green sheet in the cheerful treat dsp. To give a 3d effect, I folded all the hearts in half and only glued down one half of the heart, placed a button in the centre using a glue dot and hand drew the stalk to finish it off.

Supplies from Stampin’ Up!

Thank You for your Kindness

Standard

We all need to send a thank you card at sometime…

I punched out 3 random hearts from pink pirouette card stock and used the eyelet border punch to decorate the bottom. Placed a piece of cheerful treat designer series paper underneath, so it showed through the hearts & also at the bottom of the card. I stamped the sentiment from the sincere salutations stamp set in wisteria wonder ink and using the same colour marker drew stitch lines around each heart. I finished the card off with a piece of wisteria wonder ruffled ribbon tied in a knot.

New Home

Standard

I needed a ‘Welcome to your New Home’ card and this is what I made …

Using a flourish with crumb cake ink, I first stamped onto scrap paper before the very vanilla card, this created a softer impression. I punched out 3 x 1-3/8 squares in mocha morning specialty dsp and glued a letter on each.  Raised the square with the letter E, the bird house & the bird using dimensionals. Finished off with pearls in the birds eye and in the centers of the boho blossom flowers.

Every Little Bit – Note Pads

Standard

I have some simple note pads to share with you today…

Using various card stock measuring 3.5 x 7 inches, I rounded off the 2 corners using the corner punch and the other end used the eyelet border punch.

On the back of the note pads (bought from a local store) using sticky strip, I adhered them to the card and folded over the top and used 2 dimensionals to secure.

The bottom of the pad was decorated using the hearts from the confetti stamp set.

The top was the crown from the every little bit stamp set, stamped onto whisper white card and punched out with the large oval punch. I coloured in the crowns using the Stampin’ write markers and then adhered them to a contrasting coloured scallop oval, finished off with pearls.

Just Because …

Standard

A lady wanted a card that she could write a personal message inside to send to her husband and this is what I made …

Using baja breeze card I stamped the En Francais stamp at the bottom and also on another spare piece. I then punched out a scallop circle and the full heart out of the centre.

This was placed on top of a scallop circle in not quite navy and adhered to the card with dimensionals. I stamped the husband sentiment, rounded off the top corner, tied some taffeta ribbon in a bow and added 3 rhinestones to finish.

Supplies from Stampin’ Up!

Card stock: smooth baja breeeze & not quite navy; Stamps: for my family & en francais; Inks: not quite navy; Punches: full heart, corner punch & scallop circle; Accessories: multipurpose liquid glue, not quite navy taffeta ribbon, stamp-a-ma-jig, rhinestones & dimensionals.
