Bundle of Love – Baby Blanket

Standard

I was asked to make a new born baby card for Lucas …

To make the ‘blanket’ run a piece of bashful blue card through the big shot, using the square lattice & perfect polka dots embossing folders, then punch out 4 squares (1-3/4″) of each. You also need 4 of each of the dots & hearts from the confetti stamp set on white whisper card, using bashful blue ink.

On a scrap piece of 5” x 5” white card, adhered all the squares and then run it through the big shot using the bigz clear scallop square die.

With the marina mist marker, make little cross stitches on the ‘blanket’.

The topper is made by using the 2-3/8” scallop circle (from the spring mini catalogue) in whisper white, a 2” circle from the original circle #2 die in bashful blue & a whisper white 1-3/4” circle to which you stamp the bib, teddy & duck from the bundle of love stamp set.

Adhered them together and use dimensionals to place in the centre of the ‘blanket’ and add a small bow.

This makes a perfect square card on its own, or you can make a bigger card like I did, by adding a name and some organza ribbon.
