Happy Easter Ducks on Parade

The following are cute Easter Ducks made using punches…

ducks on parade

which were then attached to a pillow box, filled with mini chocolate speckled eggs… yum!

Here are the punches used -

Ornament punch- for the head.

Circle punch (1 3/4″) – for the body.

Large & medium oval- for the bill.

Flower from the boho blossoms punch – for the tuft.

Circle from the itty bitty shapes punch pack – for the eyes.

Scallop circle (1 3/4″) cut into quarters – for the feet and the wings.

I used a dauber with pumpkin pie ink round all the edges of the punched shapes.

Everything was glued flat except the bill and the feet, which I used dimensionals to give a little extra dimension.

To finish, I used a gell pen for the detail on the eyes & bill.

Floral Gift Bag

The following gift bag was made…

floral gift bag

with piece of card 11″ x 8.5″ scored at 4.5″ & 6.5″ x 2.5″ & 6″.

From the centre rectangle corners, score diagonally out to 2.5″.

Place the right hand side of the embossing folder up against the 6″ score line and fold the 2.5″ side underneath, so you can put it through the Big Shot.

Using a bone folder, ensure that all the score lines are burnished. The box will come together quite easily, as you fold in all the scored lines.

You can glue the gift bag to fix it together and use an oval punch to make the handles.

Finally use Stampin’ Up! markers to add colour to the embossed image.
